I Have lived here for a little over 6 months, in that time a few things have become clear about this community.

1. it takes them months and months to fix anything. They have a dual gate system, which opens for anyone at the main gate, but doesnt even open for residents at any of the other gates.

2. the trash compactor is always overflowing and trash is generally stacked up outside of it

3. the maintenance people absolutely zoom around the community, I have nearly been hit twice turning corners only to find them speeding around it.

4. the internet service is ATROCIOUS, and they are locked into a contract with some ISP that must be staffed solely by elementary school dropouts. DEFINITLY DO NOT MOVE HERE if you are at all concerned with using the internet for enjoyment or business. we were told an " upgraded " plan would be available at 6down/512kbps up'. ( thats an upgrade' ) thats below basically every ISP in the country aside from dial up. And if that wasnt bad, i have been told by the ISP ( MyMDU ) that they dont even offer this yet, and dont know when they will.

5. they are very slowing on plowing or salting the community, the streets that is, for the most part they do a decent job on salting the sidewalks.

now for some positive things

the apartments are pretty nice, and i really havent had a problem with anything

the people that are on site, aside from the manager who is NEVER here, does not accept phone calls, or emails, or anything. Are generally quite nice if very uninformed about what the company plans to actually do on any given issue.

Gee,I think you might have reviewed the wrong Woodland Park apartments.They definitely do not salt the sidewalks here in Phoenix,Arizona because it never freakin' snows here.You would think a hip,"young professional" would at least know which state they were living in.
