Formerly Woodstone now Villas at Cave Creek is a 696 unit complex that is undergoing extenisve rehab. For all the reviews on the site about not living here and drug dealers and yady yada it can't be that crucial if you are still there. This complex has cleaned up 95% of the cliental and just restaffed to better serve our community. Work orders are caught up, there are resident functions each month for either the kids or resident appreciation, contests, etc.... If you are reading this review please contact the office and make an appointment to view one of our apartment homes so we can show you in person what we have to offer. Remember these sites are for people that are upset and want to vent.

The people are still there because they are in this thing called a LEASE. You make it seem so wonderful up front but it's not until you have to sleep there, fight for parking, wait 3 wks for something to be fixed, find cockroaches in everytime you open your cabinets that you realize it was too good to be true. Then you can either pay extra to break your lease, leave and have it put on your credit, or wait until your lease is up. We couldn't wait to get out of there at the the end of our lease. I'm glad you say you are cleaning the place up. There is no way that I would ever move back. And as far as us all being angry people venting. Yes, because the place is horrible and we are angry! I gave the next place I moved to a very nice review because it was nice (gasp!). Bad place = bad reviews. Nice place = nice reviews. Go figure.

I agree w/ Michelle...These people are only still here because we have leases and most people don't have the money to break those leases. But the minute mine is up I'm out of here! I could go on and on about everything that I don't like but I will give them this, the models of the apt homes are nice and flattering but not worth everything else that comes w/ it........

I have lived here for 3 years, and have not had any problems since the new mgmt took over about a year ago. Before that, it was pretty bad, but the complex is cleaning up nicely. Roaches? Well I've never had any, and I'm on the 3rd floor. I recommend them now that they're under new mdmt. They do an accent wall now, let you choose the color, they are upgrading the countertops, cabinets, hardware that needs it, and all the units have wash/dryer hookups. I love it here, and my oyfriend and I are even getting a 2bdrm 2 bath in the same complex! Come be my neighbor.

Okay so get this. If it's so great why do people never seen in the office stand out in the driveway running up to vehicles with breakfast bars, juice and a flyer saying "refer a friend and $300 of your rent". The place should be teaming with tenants and a waiting list if it's that great. They paid this person or they live buy the office. It's always nice over there. Who would move it if it wasn't? Want to get high, there are dealers everywhere. The office never has the same people. I think they run after being yelled at for weeks!

We just moved in here a little over a week ago and agree that there are quite a few undesireables in the complex. I wouldn't live here if I had little kids, due to the kids that are currently running about the place and the speed at which people drive through the complex. The place is huge, so there are ghetto-like areas that will hopefully get cleaned up as people's leases come up for renewal. They are doing a major remodel, actually more than that, they are bringing the place up to current code. It's an enormous undertaking since it's over 30 years old, and will take time. If you are looking to rent here, spring for the upgraded units as they should be in decent shape. The guys they have working on the project are appalled by the condition of some of the units (how can people live like that?) after tenants move out, and are fixing the structural problems. Give this place some time. First, it takes a great deal of work to bring a place of this size around from years of improper maintenance. Second, it's a business. Of course they have to keep trying to bring people in as renters. Without occupants, there would be no rent paid and they would not have the means to fix it up. If you are here and there is a problem, report it. The new maintenance people are fantastic and eager to help make your home satisfactory. By the way, I'm on the second floor and have seen no roaches, not even any scurring about on the walks at night!
