Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005
We were only at Glassford for 6 months. Overall, our experience was a good one. The apartments are very new and contemporary, but well kept. This should be expected for a complex only a few years old.
POSITIVES:
1) Excellent Managment:
- Our lease went month-to-month after 6 months and they were incredibly flexible with our schedule after that time.
- For a month we had horribly noisy/partying neighbors who shook the building with their sterio bass. The management quickly reacted to the complaints.
2) Incredible View
- I recommend checking out an apartment with a view to the southeast. You overlook Prescott Valley and have a great view during the monsoon season.
NEGATIVES:
1) PARKING PARKING PARKING. Wow - what a mess. The complex is literally on the side of a hill, with very limited space. Each unit gets one covered spot, and then you must fend for yourself. The community is also gated.... so if you don't find a spot, you'll end up outside.
2) NOISE. Each apartment has a balcony/patio of some kind, so folks are always out socializing. Voices carry loud and far on the hill.
Glassford is a nice apartment complex for a short stint in P.V. I can't say I would want to stay there longer than a year or two.
