Acacia Creek Review

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007

I have lived at Acacia Creek since February of 2007. We have signed a year lease and plan on moving out if Acacia Creek decides to increase our rent on a six month lease. Acacia Creek has a great location, it's close but not too close to Loop 101 and SR-51, and its a short distance from old town Scottsdale. Its located right next to the Scottsdale Rd. & Shea Blvd. intersection, which is considered the north Scottsdale corridor.

It has all grocery and home needs very close, fast food is set back from the main streets, and of course lots of great resturants and bars. I think that Acacia Creek looks nice in the front but looks worse towards the back, not because of the people but because of the lack of landscaping. I think that maintenence does a good job on landscaping, but I have not had a big need for them in my apartment. I have tried to meet some of the people that live here but have only met a few, for the most part I have not met any of the people that most of the reviews talk about. The little partys and bbq's that the staff put on are nice.

I have had a big problem with my mail, if your not on a first name basis with the mail lady and the staff, you will recieve nothing but as's and junk mail and no personal mail. I am not a "dog in a apartment community" type of person, I dont want to walk out of my apartment and see a dog pissing in the rocks next to the side walk, puddling up running onto the hot asphalt and then stinking up the area. They also leave wet crap stains on the side walk. I also see alot of big dogs and cant imagine why anyone would want to share an apartment with a huge dog like the ones I avoid at Acacia Creek. They shut the water off all day one day with only a notice on the keypad at the gate, and then another day with no notice. The gates also dont keep anyone out, and are broken all the time.

I have found myself with not much good to say so I guess I will stop here.
