Well, I am honestly quite dissapointed with the remarks I've read thusfar because as far as I can see, they are extremely accurate.

I moved into the first-level property on January 13. It was the first time I had seen the property, as all condominiums were sold "as-is". I did not personally buy this condominium, my family did for me in efforts of kindness.

The first thing that turned me off was the horrendous conditions of the 96th/Shea intersection, continuing along 96th street until Cactus. Perhaps this will be a nice development in the future, but currently, the roads suck to drive on.

I was also not pleased with the fact that there appears to be NO STREET SIGN! When you are coming North on 96th street, there is NO SIGN stating that the first street on your left is BECKER! When I had the appointment for the final walkthrough, I was a half an hour late because I could not find the damn place.

Thank god they covered up that ditch-like hole in the ground when you first turn onto the street. I felt like my tires were breaking.

The color of the complex is not at all pleasing to the eye. Shame on their exterior designer for that one. Lime sorbet Green' So 70's.

The unit itself is very narrow, and the walls are very thin. I found it extremely bizzare that my parking spot is not at all close to my condo. Now tell me, the spot in front of the place... does that belong to the owner down the street'

I was told I could make a list of things broken in the condo and that they would fix it. I dropped the list off, along with a key, to the VERY RUDE office staff. They ASSURED me that the work would be completed immediately and "we're so sorry!" When two weeks later no work has been completed, I'm beginning to become extremely frustrated.

My HOA fees are around $206 a month. I've paid three months in advance. I really could not understand when they were unable to provide me with a fitness key (an amenity I'm paying 200 DOLLARS FOR) when I moved in. Apparently, they "ran out" and needed to make copies. "Please come back tomorrow, we'll have a copy for you." I ended up coming back four times that week until the woman finally took my phone number. I received a call a week later and was told I could come pick up the key. What a shocker when I went down to the office and it was CLOSED.

I can hear my neighbors on every side of this place. My garbage disposal is broken (and won't be fixed ANY TIME SOON) and my screen door doesn't lock. The light in my backyard (my unit faces a rock ditch) is OUT, which means there is absolutely NO security behind my condo. The grill is filthy, the landscaping is terrible, there is something wrong with the watering system outside my front door that consistently FLOODS the street, it takes weeks for things to be fixed, the list goes on. I was particularly insulted by the office staff, which I feel A. do not like their jobs whatsoever, B. don't give a DAMN about anyone, C. are inadequately prepared, D. are not knowledgeable about the condominiums.

I received a water bill for 12/10-1/10 usage. I never stepped foot into the unit until 1/13. How convenient that the bill was already in my NAME. They better not expect me to pay that.

And to top it all off, it's a pain in the butt trying to explain to people how to turn onto a street with no name, over a car-scraping hill, past a dirt "parking lot", into the maze that eventually leads to my "home".

It's just great. A real catch for $205,000. I'd reccomend this place to ANYONE!

I can't tell you how much I appreciate your candor and honesty about this complex. I was seriously considering moving here....and after reading the number of negative responses.....that saved me time, money, and aggravation. The internet is a wonderful tool for a venture of this kind. I hate to move anyway.....and always do my homework ahead of time. No way will I ever consider moving to this complex. Thanks again for your detailed information!!

Thanks for your comments. The apartments in Arizona stink, so how can the conversions be any better?
