Please do not ever rent here

I lived in an apartment at Broadstone from 8/06-8/07 and we had problems before we even moved in. First, they had our move in date wrong but luckily I got that settled. However, since they had to speed everything up, they left a mess of paint on the floor, the dishwasher did not work and the roof was leaking. They fixed that relatively quickly but then we realized how thin the walls were and we could hear our douchebag neighbor blasting John Mayer and Blues Traveler at all hours of the day and night. The 24 hour pool seemed like a good idea but all night loud parties that the police don't care about get pretty annoying when you have to wake up early. Also, I am a petite girl who was living by myself at the time and woke up at 8am to some guy on my second floor balcony TWICE!! The management did let us know the guys would be painting but the date they were supposed to be finished was two weeks before this happened. This made me so uncomfortable and was so unsettling that I ended up moving in with someone else but still paying rent there. I just found out today that Broadstone put me in collections for the move out bill (carpet cleaning, fitness room key which I never got in the first place), etc.) even though I paid it a week after I received the invoice in October 2007. They never sent me anything after the first invoice and I am really upset that my credit has been damaged. Broadstone will never get their stuff together. I will never rent from this company and I will be so glad when this is all settled so I never have to deal with them again.
