My roommate and I went to Broadstone Ancala apartments to rent a two bedroom, two bath. When we first arrived and looked at an apartment we were told that there was a special going on and were quoted $606.00/month by both of the women that showed us the apartment. They also told us that this rate was approved and looked over by the property manager due to the special offer. However, once we sat down with them, the price on the contract was listed at $808.00/month. When we questioned them and asked them to reduce the price to the price that we were promised, the property manager Jesse, went on a rant and through out figures that made no sense. When we questioned her, she became very defensive and rude. She was extremely confrontational and said that "well this is north Scottsdale", even though right down the street there are apartments for cheaper that have a lot more square footage. I would be very beware of hidden prices and the 'bait-n-switch' technique.
