I previously lived in these apartments. When I moved in they were The Overlook. At that time the staff was wonderful, the apartments where kept up and the maintenance staff were prompt and good at what they did. When the new staff took over the story changed completely. The office staff treated you like just another number on the sheet, they were friendly only in a condescending way. They fired the previous maintenance staff and brought in new people of which only one had any idea how to do anything. The prices on everything went up and you couldn't get them to respond to calls for work for days or longer. I switched apartments during the time of the change over from a one to a two bedroom. After doing the move in log for the new apartment I had to contact the office four times to get them to fix half the problems listed on the move in sheet. To the day I moved out not a single one of the other problems where corrected. As mentioned in another post these weren't minor problems, things such as the seals around the tub were bad causing water to leak through the walls, the door had a gap below it so you couldn't use the AC at all effectively along with the fact the plate below the door wasn't even nailed down, and the counters and doors on the cabinets had cracks. They even had the nerve to try and charge me for these problems when I moved out. There are many more issues I could list, but I think you will get the idea. I advise against anyone moving into this complex without a major overhaul of both the staff and the apartments.
