As a former tenant of 2006 I must warn anyone thinking of moving here. I bought out my lease last August just to get out! Please heed all the warnings left by others, it's all true. Here is a list of why not to rent here (no exagerations here):
1. NOISE inside apartments! 140 lb girl upstairs sounds like a 500 lb gorilla! It's more quite outside.
2. Scorpion INFESTATION!
3. Sewer roaches/Palmetto bugs INFESTATION/NESTS! Do NOT walk barefoot outside.
4. Wasps in the walls.
5. Cheap construction.
6. Plumbing sounds like it's going to break through the walls!
7. Have to pay for covered parking.
8. Have to pay for a washer and dryer in your unit.
9. Mold in apartments.
10. Change in management would not allow transfer to upstairs unit.
There are only two good things I can say about this place:
1. Grounds were very well kept while I was there.
2. OUTSIDE was very quite (not inside your apartment though).
As I understand, the rents on the apartments went sky high and so did the paid covered parking. These apartments do not warrant high rent and SHOULD include a washer/dryer & covered parking AT NO EXTRA COST! In all honesty, these apartments need to be demolished and rebuilt.
This is an honest post without a vendetta against the staff, they were actually all very nice except when new owners took over; the new manager was useless.
