I am just coming up on the end of my one-year lease of a 3-bedroom. Here are my thoughts:
Good things: The 3-bedroom is spacious and well-planned out. It's a convenient location, too. THe price was great for the area, I got in on a sweet deal. Of course, now I see why :)
Bad things: There is NO parking for visitors (thank God I have a garage attached, but my poor friends have to park at Albertsons across the street when they visit).
I've had to follow up 4-6 times on simple maintenance requests (clogged drain, for example) and then they are rude when you keep calling, like your nuts for bugging them. And these calls were spaced out over 2 weeks.
The gate is ALWAYS broken and they never fix it. So much for that security measure.
The exercise room is crap. All the machines are old and always broken.
The staff in the rental office is ALWAYS changing. The young girls they hire are rude and clueless.
The pool is often dirty looking and full of debris.
The mailboxes are a pain to get to, as are the dumpsters.

I will not be re-newing my lease come July!
