This is the first apartment I have lived in since graduating from college, and it is worse than all of the student apartment complexes I have lived in in nearly every category.
First, our apartment had not been cleaned well when we moved in. It has some of the worst parking that I have ever seen. I have been forced, because of the lack of parking spaces, to park at the shopping center across the street and walk five minutes home. Even though the management recognized this as an issue (after we moved in, and did not describe this as an issue prior to)they proceeded to allow a landscape truck to take up five visitor spots for over a week. This is but one example of how incompetent, inept, and careless the management is. The office managed to lose our inventory move in sheet, twice!! Granted, they are always kind when I enter the office. And, they are quite prompt on fixing problems (albiet in a half assed manner).
We have had several problems with our A/C. It leaked so horribly that it warped the baseboards and linoleum in the kitchen. The maintenance people fixed the A/C, but we have to ----- and moan to get the kitchen fixed.
On the plus side, it is quiet and the apartment is generally in decent condition. My main problems are with the management, and their inability to solve problems or do routine record keeping. The parking SUCKS!
