First of all, upon moving in to my large one bedroom apartment I found out that there was no way to maneuver a sofa through the front door. I had to throw away my sofa because it would not fit thru my front door and being on the 2nd floor, I couldnt get it up thru my balcony. Luckily the sofa I had was a piece of crap and I didn't mind parting with it. For the year I lived here, I had a bed in my living room along with a couple of chairs since that was all I could fit thru the front door.
My dishwasher was broken the entire time I lived there despite it being "fixed" on about 3 different occaisions. Because it was broken, the water remained in the bottom of the dishwasher causing mold to grow. They give you a washer/dryer but it is a stackable unit. They are REALLY poor quality and it took me over 2 hours to dry a load of laundry. That is not an exhaggeration.
The apts. themselves were not that bad. The kitchen was spacious. The bedroom was huge and I quite liked the big dressing area as well as the giant walk in closet. They do need to be updated with new cabinetry and appliances.
But by far the worst experience at Camellero for me was a bill upon moving out for $75 because "the kitchen counter had been cut". If you haven't lived there you wouldn't understand but the kitchen countertops have been painted over as a way of "updating" I suppose. The cream colored paint chips off on it's own and naturally, if you accidentally drag a fork across the counter or slice an apple directly on the counter, it damages. To this day I haven't paid the fee because I think it is ridiculous.
