Okay here's the truth. I have lived here going on two years. These are very old buildings that were not designed well in the first place. The kitchens are ugly, old and falling apart. However, the rest of these negative attacks are exaggerated or outright lies. For example, the walls are pure concrete block - they are so hard that it is impossible to nail anything to the wall. So the statement that the walls are paper thin is ludicrous. Because of the age of the complex they have had a number of plumbing problems but the maintenance staff is always right on it.

I live right off of the southern pool. During the early summer the college kids are out until 4 am sometime. Their rudeness is unbelievable as they scream and party without any concern for those of us sleeping. I have called the police on them a few times and reported them to management. Yet this is not a problem of the complex but of our culture and spoiled rotten younger generations.

Camellero apts are not worth the money you pay but if you are like me and want to be close to work (2 minutes) then they are a perfect place to call home.

We live in the north part of the complex and we don't have concrete walls, I do know the south part of the complex was built before these units ..and you can hear when your neighbors are in the bathroom or closing a cabinet in the kitchen or watching tv. not only the neighbors beside us but the people below us too. We have great neighbors though and we are very considerate of each other. In the new (north)part of camerello and the parking here is bad. My friends in LA dont even have to park as far as we do and they have to find a spot on the street to park. The area is great though you are so close to everything but there other places around here that are the same price and cheaper and I dont know if they have the same problems. Maintenance is good, sometimes they dont fix the problem right the first time but they are on it and it does get done. One thing is I have been in the office and heard them talking bad towards the tenats which I thought was unprofessional. Jenny in the office is the only one I go to and she is very sweet. We have lived here for a few years and the area we are in is quiet. Havent heard wild parties or loud neighbors but see the cops here a lot.
