I have never - and I mean NEVER been so disgusted and disappointed with an apartment complex and maintenance staff in my whole life!

First of all - the rent is horribly over-priced. $926.26 for a one bedroom apartment whose cabinets are put together with duct-tape! no joke! The bottom of my cabinets just fell right off, and there was a long strip of duct-tape holding it together!

Second - There is a horrible problem with roaches and mold in the older apartments. VERY unsanitary. When I called the maintenance people they tried to aruge with me about how they didnt want to fix my mold and roach problem and tried to blame ME for it, when it was really their fault to begin with. I had told them a month ago that my sink/dishwasher was leaking and they just said "oh, well, you're moving out in 3 months anyway..." and they only replaced my dishwasher (which was a peice of junk), overlooking the fact that underneath my sink had caved in due to water damage, causing a breeding ground for beetles, roaches, and ants! I would seriously wake up in the morning and find 6 or 7 roaches in my kitchen! eww!
When I called them again recently about my sink telling them it was getting worse, and my apartment was starting to smell like mold - they came over and said "oh, we'll just board it up" - ignoring the mold and water damage. I started getting very upset and telling them this is a SERIOUS health issue and horrible living conditions and I would call the health department if nothing was done today. Then they started to actually DO something. The office staff placed me and my husband in another (nicer) apartment for the same ammount of rent that I was paying in the first place.
The office staff was wonderful and very accommodating considering what we had just been through. That is the only good thing about this apartment complex- is the office staff. A new managemnt company just took over and they are VERY professional but the maintenance staff is NOT.

Please really consider moving in here - they are over-priced and put together horribly. And from what I read from the other reviews - I totally agree about the A/C and electricity - something is wrong here. My A/C thing must be installed wrong (in both apartments) and I pay over $150 a month on my electric bill! INSANE!!
