I have mixed feelings about this place. My apartment was newly remodeled when I moved in which was great, but now 7 months later it still smells of paint, no matter how much I air it out, and the fumes give me headaches, and my dish-ware smells like paint. Thats not what you want to be smelling when drinking water from your cups.
You'll notice in the bathrooms, especially sink and tub, that they must have used a cheap paint because it began flaking away right away. But over all everything else about the apt looks great. The maintenance people are great and fix your things in a day or two. I have had to clean up their dirty finger prints/hand prints after they've gone, so you know when they've been there.
Here are a few things I couldn't stand about the place. One there is dog poop EVERYWHERE! So many people here do not clean up after their dogs, and when I take my dog out to do her business it's impossible to find a place where I'm not stepping in it or she's not eating it and later getting sick. They need to be more strict about catching and fining people who do this so it stops. The only time its cleaned is once a month when the grounds are groomed and the lawns are mowed, the grounds keeper picks up the dog poops and for a few days its great. Then it is littered in poop again. Secondly, Most friday saturday nights people play loud music, drink and smoke pot by the pool and in the sauna, that it kind of ruins it for me and my guests when we would like to use the pool area. Lastly, where I live in building 16 I am surrounded by people who play their music loudly ALL the time!! One neighbor in particular, I share a bedroom wall with them. They play their music SO loudly, their base shakes my picture frames hanging on my wall. This occurs all hours of the day and night. For about 2 months I was woken up almost everyday at 4 am to this music. I wasn't sleeping for weeks. I emailed, phoned, and went in and talked to the apartment managers about it. It took forever for anyone to do anything about it. They sent out flyers to everyone in my building, but it didn't stop it. About a month or so in I spoke to Hugo who was here that day from the corporate offices. He actually came over and went to speak to the people we think it is. He said because we can't tell which apartment it is coming from for certain, (because all my surrounding buildings play their music loudly) they can't do more than that. Now I'd have to take matters into my own hands and call the police when it happens etc. Ive finally given up. I'm out of here soon. Who needs sleep right'
