Was in City Place from 98-00, and was bothered by the fact that there is no security gate. Parking allocation was also a bit weird, with the alloted spot placed quite far from one's apartment. HOWEVER, I never had any problem with break-ins or burglary, and this was also true with a friend of mine who is in the same complex. I think generally management can do more to improve security by installing a security gate. The effectiveness of a gate however, is quite questionable, as I have also lived in other gated communities in the past and instead of a deterrant, people can still tailgate to gain access instead.
Management and office staff handled my requests professionally, and maintenance was done promptly. I liked it there overall
