I've lived in City Place for the last 3 years, and overall it has been good for me here. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment downstairs. I find that the apt is solidly constructed - so far I have had no noise problems with my surrounding neighbors(walking, etc). The apartment itself is big - it's about 800 sqft for a 1 bedroom, which is more than enough for a single person like me. However, without discount, yes this place can be expensive.

Parking hasn't been a problem here - plenty of guest parking available. However, the office seems to assign us parking spots without any logical order. My parking spot is quite a distance from my apartment, which makes it a hassle if I have to carry groceries. Also, maintenance seems to not have done its work lately with the garden lights at the parking lot - some of them are dead and need to be replaced!

I think without the free rents offered, for a 1 bedroom apt the rent is about $790. Most people who live here are families and working professionals. I lived in Tempe before and was constantly bothered by student parties.. I had no such problem in this complex. Overall, my stay at City Place has been favorable.
