Very pleasant living

I have lived at City Place for almost a year now, and will only be moving out because I can now buy a home. Location is great!! Close to PV mall, the 101/Scottsdale road area, Old Town, and both 101 and 51 access. The apartment complex is quiet, and has a lovely pool, although I could use fewer children in the pool area. I rent a 3 bedroom, 2nd floor end unit with a great view of the McDowells. There used to be an occasional noise problem with the neighbors occasionaly our master bedroom and their dining room share a common wall. The floor layout is very nice, large master bedroom and living room.

A few items though ... fixtures, applicances, cabinets, and carpeting are not of the greatest grade. Really don't understand the location of the fireplace as you can't really cuddle in front of it. Pantry is very large, but if someone likes to cook there is not enough counter space or places for pans and such.

Electricity ran from $40 to $140, so it is pretty inexpensive, but we keep the thermostat around 78 in the summer which might be a little warm for some people.

I have never had any problem with the tenants or the office staff. The staff has always been courteous and helpful, and maintenance is always responsive.
