I've been pretty happy with my apartment so far. The complex is beautiful, and typically (as long as we're not coming in late on a weeknight) we can park both our cars near our door. It does have a nice fitness center, along with a water machine (very convenient). The gates close at night, and they're pretty slow to open (if you're lucky enough to have a remote), but it's nice having that little bit of extra security.

The front office staff typically takes care of things pretty quickly, yet I don't feel very welcome there. There's rarely anyone sitting at the front desk, and when I walk in, they finish chit-chatting with each other before actually greeting me. Maintenance has been prompt, pleasant, and helpful. The appliances could be better - they're made by a low-end manufacturer, but they work well enough (though my laundry has gotten physically stuck in the washing machine on several occasions...). I think the pet rent is steep ($25/month for a 12 lb. cat that sleeps 24/7'!), but it's just about standard for the area.

Bear in mind that this apartment complex is close to Old Town and ASU - this could be very convenient for you, but it also means we have a lot of douchey people. The only time this really bothers me is when they talk at 3 am under my window, blast their bass while driving through, or when they forget how to park their cars straight. Or when they park their motorcycle in a very convenient spot, and leave it there for a week while others have to hoof it from the back of the complex. Okay, I'm venting. I wouldn't particularly recommend this place for anyone with children. For a twenty-something, though, it's a pretty good place if you get in at the right time & price.
