I moved in here at the end of August & signed a 14-mth lease b/c I got an awesome deal & I love the area & the complex. When I moved in it was under different mgmt but I've had no problems at all with the current mgmt. Tammy is very nice & everytime I have talked to her she is sweet & prompt. My neighbors were punk college kid-trust fund babies driving m3's who would play beer pong until 4 am every night & me being a law student & needing sleep prior to finals, etc...I was not going to have neighbors like that. So I complained & the noise stopped. Now I just have a family w/small children upstairs who sound like they run across the apt playing tag or something all day. They just moved in recently so we'll see if the noise dissipates, if not, I am assured Tammy will take care of it.

I have the remodeled unit which is absolutely beautiful--brand new black appliances, new carpet, new countertops w/a cool design both in kitchen & bathrooms & brand new washer & dryer. Only maintenance problem I've had were ants 1 time & my garbage disposal & shower/toilets got clogged. Each time they've come out ASAP to fix it & even call afterward to make sure it got fixed. The maintenance people are also super friendly & aren't creepy or anything.

The BIGGEST complaint I have here is the SEVERE lack of parking. I got a $400 handicapped parking ticket b/c there was nowhere else to park in the ENTIRE complex. I am fighting the ticket b/c I took pictures of the NO parking situation & of the alleged handicapped parking spot I parked in which was a COVERED spot, the paint was worn so that it was not visible AND there was no sign. The only place they have parking is in the back or on the north side of the complex. I live on the southwest side of the complex. EVERYONE parks in handicap spots & when those are taken, people park in front of the dumpsters.

I'm not sure what it is with the car-keying thing but my boyfriend's car got keyed twice & the office said that they had 3 other complaints like that too, so they attributed it to a vagrant walking thru the complex doing it randomly. But 2x on consecutive nights is not random to me.

Advice--DO NOT MOVE HERE IF YOU HAVE KIDS
The ONLY people who live here are ASU STUDENTS or PARTY KIDS who want to live close to Old Town which is the mecca of night life in Scottsdale. Those are the main 2 reasons I moved here--close to campus & close to going out...So I don't mind it that much. But for those who complain about it who have families--move to a family-friendly apt complex away from Old Town. Or if you have rowdy neighbors after 10 like I did, tell the mgr & they'll get it handled.
