gunshots, etc. From: .ihatearchstone. Date posted: 5/11/2005 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   I would never recommend these to anyone. We had gunshots outside our apartment (about 2 feet away to be exact, we could see the holes in the ground) not once, but twice. When we requested to be moved to another apartment because we feared for our safety, they advised us there was nothing available, and that we would have to pay more to move. We watched a car get stolen, saw someone's window have a river rock thrown through it, there was a man across the street with a bomb, so they shut down the apartment entrance so no one could come in or leave all day, and they made us pay for parking permits about 6 months into our lease. Then our water heater broke and leaked through the wall to my bedroom, destroying things in my room, and then when they replaced it, the old water heater was left on our patio for 3 weeks. There was a rape in the complex the first week we were there and so much more. We could not wait to move.
