I lived at the Cortesians From April 2002 to March 2003 we moved out early paying rent on both properties, because it was so horrible we could no longer stand to live there. The Management team is rude inconsiderate, when the air was out because the 31 year old Chiller system was broke and unable to be replaced because parts are no longer even made for it. I was told in Mid July to deal with it, was not her problem. They refused to offer any rent reduction or hotel rooms to those who were ill, from going with no air. One of the buildings is referred to as Little mexico by the staff, and the repairs are not done in a timely matter in this building. It is in horrible shape and the plumbing is a joke. I made friends with a few of the nicer staff members and found out all kinds of things about The MANAGER and the management staff bad mouthing the residents. The Apartments do have Sewer roaches which crawl up the pipes, It doesn?t matter how clean your apartment is these things are there, My apartment is always well kept. When I mentioned the bugs I was told there was nothing they could do about it because they crawl up the pipes from the sewer. I was told to catch them or squash them as I came upon them. There would be loud paties and nothing was ever done about noise control. Then after ignoring you for a year except for cashing rent checks and doing shotty repair jobs. The put chocolate on your door when it is time to renew and they have someone call and "play nice with you" trying to get you to sign another lease. DO NOT MOVE INTO THES APARTMENTS they are a horrible deal and there are better places in scottsdale.
