We moved in due to a free rent special to save drive time. I wouldve preferred to live in my car instead!

When we first moved in we asked specifically about security. We were told that there was regular full time security. We were told that the guy was incredible, no one got away with anything. The 3rd night we were here we had to call because of a loud party upstairs. There was no response. After the 3rd time one of our vehicles was broken into we were finally told that there was only a courtesy patrol, a guy who locks the gates at night and that there never had been any full time security.

Was told the ceilings were concrete. Why can we hear the upstairs neighbors talking and their cat run across the floor'

We were told the place was extremely quiet because it was all professional people who lived here. We should have asked professional what'''

We were not told about the lead paint & asbestos until we had already paid our move-in costs and had a truck loaded with everything we owned sitting outside the office. We never would have moved in if we knew about it before that.

The first 3 months we lived here the pool was closed and the hot tub never has worked properly.

Shower radically changes temperatures from hot to cold at random. We have both been scalded by the temperature changes. Was told by maintenance there was nothing they could do.

Front door sticks shut when humid. Maintenance says that also cant be fixed. What if there was a fire in the kitchen and our front door was stuck shut' I couldnt open it and neither could our small children.

The paint that was covering the rust spots in the bathtub flaked off. The clean out in the bathtub is held in with caulking and is rusting out. Maintenance said it could be repainted if we left for a weekend. That still does not fix the rust problems.

Every time it rained water would pour in our front windows. Maintenance was here several times and caulked around the windows. They still leaked.

Gas pressure on stove changes at random.

Complaints about neighbors double parking, parking in our assigned spot were met with no response by office or courtesy patrol. When office did finally respond it was to give us a written notice about window coverings that had been in place for well over a year. Retaliation' Easter Sunday, 2 cars were double parked, one on either side of the street. Office was closed, called courtesy patrol and got a recording that they handled calls between 9 PM and 5 AM. What of holidays and the hours the office is not open'

SWAT team has been here 5 times in the last year. We were told criminal background checks were done on all prospective residents . We dont really feel safe when men are running through the parking lot with assault rifles.

Called emergency maintenance on a Saturday night because of a leaking sink drain. Called again on Monday, had husband buy parts and fix it Monday night when he got home because dishes were piled up from not being able to use sink or dishwasher. Maintenance showed up on Wednesday.

Maintenance was there twice to fix leaky bathtub faucet. It still leaks. It still leaked when they left. Diverter still doesnt work after maintenance fixed it. Tub peels horribly. Have to take a shower after a bath to wash off the paint chips.

Ants were tunneling under the side of building and getting into house. I called early in the week. Was told pest control came on Thursday. Maintenance didnt even have a can of Raid to help. Sprayed them myself, was home all day Thursday. Never saw pest control. Next week the ants were back again. Called again was told pest control would do it Thursday. A neighbor and I ended up spraying them.

It is nearly impossible to sleep with the music and drinking until early AM hours occurring in the parking lot directly across from us and the fear of our car being broken into yet again. The police have told us that they spend a lot of time here. One said he spends more time here filling out theft reports then he does in traffic.

We finally quit complaining to the office and courtesy patrol. With one complaint to the office I was told that the people spoke no english and there was no one in the office who spoke Spanish. (How do you rent to them if no one speaks Spanish'') Have had to call the police several times due to loud parties around us. We have tried to speak directly with many of the people we have had problems with. Tried calling courtesy patrol and they would never respond. We find beer cans on our back patio and the front window sills, have found cigarettes put out on our vehicles. We had a Jag when we moved in. We couldnt keep up with the cost of repairing the vandalism damage to it.

As for their dog policy, they let pit bulls, rottweilers and anything else in there. People let them run loose and when they approach you and your leashed dog they tell you theirs is friendly. What if yours isnt'

Please feel free to email us for more info. We made several great friends while living there and they have all had the good sense to move out too.
