I lived in the Cortesian last year when I attended SCI. The apartment was a good size, reasonably priced, and conveniently located. I didn't have a car, so it was nice to be in walking distance of the mall, restaurants, clubs, grocery shopping, etc. My experience with the mnagement was fairly peaceful. They were usually around to answer questions or send maintenance.

I guess the only problem I really had with the complex was cockroaches. My kitchen was infested with them. eventually, someone finally came and sprayed the place, but for the next few weeks I was finding their little corpses everywhere. Not only that, but they soon came back, no matter how clean my kitchen was. They were even bigger and grosser than before. Would I live there again' Absolutely not. For me, little six-legged roomies were the deal breaker.

On the other hand, maybe you'll have better luck than me. Maybe the bug problem has been solved since I left. I'd recommend it if you're on a bit of a budget, like living downtown, and don't mind occasional noise at all hours of the night.
