It is shocking!

Thank you everyone who took their time to write about the Cortesian Apartment Homes. I was doing a research on this apartment complex because three of my nieces just moved in there with their mom. It is quite shocking where the kids will have to live! All I had to read here, made me cry!!!! I decided to check that place out myself last night:
The first thing I saw was two police cars at the complex; and the Parkway Ave was also blocked by the police... Upon my entrance to the complex, I immediately saw a burned out building. It looked like the fire started at one of the apartments and then moved to the adjoining apartments... The next thing I saw was a badly bent carport post. Somebody must have run into it with their car. There was a friend of mine with me because I was afraid to go there by myself. We stood there for a moment looking at that bent post. Two guys came out of their apartment. They were very loud. They tried to approach us to introduce themselves. While I could not smell a strong alcohol odor from their breath, they definitely were under influence of some kind of drug. They acted strange. They almost insisted on us going into their apartment. We did not feel safe so we told them that we needed to go. We came around the corner and stopped for a moment. I heard those two gentlemen start walking along the parking lot... then I heard a sound of a broken glass (they must have had a glass bottle with them and had thrown that bottle into something). Then I've heard them hitting the ground/concrete with something that sounded like a metal pipe. It was around the midnight. We started going towards our car and observed the following. A few young guys came out. They approached one of the apartments and started HITTING! (not knocking!) hitting the front door. Somebody opened the door, everybody went inside and while they were three buildings away from us, we could hear them speaking and screaming loudly inside.
I stopped by at the Cortesian in the afternoon today. As soon as I left the parking lot I was attacked by a young German Shepherd. It s a good thing I am an adult and I am not afraid of dogs. My 6 year old niece is afraid of dogs, and I know she would be very scared. The dog was not on a leash; and the owners were not even around. They were around the corner, far away from their dog. In a distance from me, I heard three or four dogs viciously barking. I could tell those were big dogs. Before I got to my car I ran across another big (I mean BIG) dog being loose. The owners of the dogs were busy arguing with their neighbors about something. I was shocked. I had to lease apartments in my life; I never saw anything like that before!!! I do not understand how is it possible that management is allowing all that! I am really concerned for the safety of my nieces! This is about one hour experience being at the Cortesian. I have not even been inside yet ..
I have to add that I had called to the office a couple of days ago and must say that office staff was not very friendly.
