For being in Scottsdale, it certainly could be better. Newer people moving in will be paying more in rent since they are remodeling all the old apartments. While the dumpsters do tend to get full, especially over the weekend, they did place gates in front of them to cover up the overflow! :P The gates make it hard to throw your trash out though. The kids are ridiculous, though some have moved away...the worst neighbor I have yells out her back door every night at 5pm for her kids to come in and you can hear her screaming at the sometimes. For the most part, though, it is quiet here. I've lived here almost 3 years, and while management has changed, it hasn't gotten worse or better. I feel safe here, they've improved the gym since I moved in and it is pretty nice (when the kids aren't using it as a day care center.) There are several pools and parking is okay. I haven't needed maintenence for much, so can't comment on them. My rent has gone up about $60 in the last 3 years, and now they charge you for water separately. I would recommend this to others. I live in a one bedroom that has plenty of living space, though the closet space leaves MUCH to be desired.
