This complex looks nice on the outside, but watch out!!! Where to begin...the apartments leak very badly when it rains (meaning your living room becomes a swamp). To fix this, the rental company decided to inconvenience all of its renters by completing construction in attempt to "fix" the leaking windows, ceilings, and walls. The fixing consisted of jackhammers, very restricted parking (really no uncovered spots, people were parking out on the street) due to all the construction vehicles, caution tape, garbage bags over holes in the walls and ceilings, and dumpsters all over the place. Maintenance is just awful...we lived there for a year and spent about 10 months of that time trying to get a ceiling fan fixed. Apparently the quality and mental health of people hired to do maintenance is not an issue for this rental company because one of the drunken maintenance guys attempted to take an AK-47 to the maintenance boss. There were police everywhere as well as bullet holes. Maintenance took a long time before that happened, but afterward, forget it! As for other crime, we know firsthand that cars are broken into often in this area and are often stolen...The walls are very thin and I could hear my neighbor sneeze as well as pee in the mornings. I was never sure if it was my phone ringing or the neighbors...The stuffy office staff is overweight and unfriendly. All in all, if you wish to throw your money away, dodge bullets from maintenance men, wade through the swamp in your living room, and search for your stolen car...go right ahead. Our experience was simply awful...and I believe that we weren't alone.
