I bought this unit a little of over two years ago and must say that I don't understand all these negative views. I guess the only people that post on here are people who have negative views and need to grunt their fustrations. The grounds are truly beautiful and the pool is very nice especially during the spring and summer.

It's hard not to be negative when the tenants here before the conversion were not allowed to purchase any of the units. They were forced to move. The other issue is rent has increased from 800 to 1100 for a 2 bedroom unit in this complex from before the conversion to after the conversion. With rents so high, you would expect to have a very flawless-luxery perfect apartment. (Don't you remember the roach problem last late summer? Or the inoperable steam room for several months?) The apartments are exactly the same except the higher price.

I moved into a unit at Frank on Shea two years ago and have noticed the place go down hill fast. There has several differnt mgrs and leasing agents. The currents are very nice, but completed ineffective. The police are here several times a week and lets not forget the party with 500 people thrown by the leasing agents room mate. There was broken glass and trash everywhere for days. They don't clean up after their own dogs that constantly bark and all hours so why should anyone else that lives there. Maintenance is slow, if they ever show up and then they only a partial fix if at all. I wouldn't recommend this complex to anyone unless they were looking for a vacation rental for a few days.
