I am sorry that I ever got involved with the Pillar company. The staff argues with you, they are extremely unreasonable, and do not work with the tenants AT ALL! There are a lot of break-ins, it is an unsafe community, You get fines for parking, hassled if even one day late, and if you have to break your lease they tack on upwards of $5,000 in fees, with NO BACKING DOWN!! Do yourself a favor-DON"T DEAL WITH PILLAR!!

I must admit, I have lived in pillar communities- and I have had friends that have lived in pillar communities... very nice apartment, but I had the maint. staff left notes on my car wanting to "take me out" and when I brought it to management, they covered their asses. I demanded no premission to enter- and then they came up with a false work order to try and enter (with key in lock) once during the day... thank GOD my roommate was home to stop them. We also had someone break into our apartment, cops came... called apt. management and got no response. When I moved out... if you DON'T keep signed proof that they received your 30 day notice... they will claim they didn't get it and fine you another month! It was a nice building...with poor management response and very sketchy safety.
