When I moved in the manager was friendly and very helpful. However, the so-called handy man is an angry "i hate life" combative, confrontational soul. When I first moved in my key got stuck in the lock and I was unable to lock my door. When I called him to help at 8pm he screamed in the phone refusing to do a thing. His advice was to sleep with the key in my lock. He said he lives in AJ and refused to drive here for my issue. After him ranting and raving for 10min I hung up on him. Several months later my heater broke. He came in and claimed to have fixed it. After it ran for 3 days straight I explained to him again that it was broke. He insist that it was fine. The following night it caught fire. Thankfully it was only burning in the furnace and the flames coming out of the vent hadn't caught on to anything. After leaving a message on the emergency line it still took the nice guy 2 days to do anything. The hour he spent in my apt to fix the heater, he did nothing but scowl at me. Today I had another incident with my key. Unfortunatly it was 3:30pm and the handy man left home. He was angry he had to come back to check my lock. This man screamed at me for having to come back and continued to yell even after I asked him not to yell at me. This enraged him more and he let me know he was allowed to yell at me because my lock was fine and he was on his way home. We went to the office where he continued to scream at me and get in my face. The new office manager just stood there as I continued to ask him to stop yelling at me. The office manager let me know that it was time for her to leave and did nothing about the crazy old man! I called the police and of course the crazy old man said I was the aggressor. The police asked the complex gossip queen smoker who happened to be the crazy old mans friend what happened and she also stated I was the aggressor. Due to the delerious people in this trailer park complex, nothing was done. Thats just my story. A friend of mine has been waiting for the crazy old man to fix a hole in her bathroom ceiling for 6 months. Another guys balcony is rotting and the crazy old man took a 2x4 and hammered it between a tree and his balcony. Real safe. Not to mention the balcony that collapsed in the front has been taped off for the last several months. Drive by you will see it in the front. Do yourself a favor, unless you like trailer park service and melrose place in the ghetto drama, stay away from this armpit of a complex. Don't say I didn't warn you. Its not worth the square footage and vaulted ceilings.

I agree the handyman might not be the most friendly person, but the balcony in the front has been fixed, the pool has been open and everything is going back to normal. The new management is good and this place is nice to live in. I think you have a personal problem with the handy man. That's all.
