Montierra looks great. The floor plans are spacious, the grass is green, the pool looks fab and the exterior paint is very modern. Yet when you dwell further in to the actual apartments Montierra is not all it is cracked up to be. If you only care about aesthetics then this is the place for you. But my personal experience made me want out of there on month 3. Our apartment was infested with bed bugs. The bloodsucking ones that when you kill your own blood that they took from you spurts out. The staff are ridicoulously rude. Until I had to physically show them evidence of my bed bugs they did not have a care in the world, nor even beleived the fact that we had bed bugs. The maintenence guys are great, polite and even a little funny. But the ------- up front care about money and not their residents. Also if you have friends then forget seeing them at this apartment! There is NO parking. I read this website before I moved in and saw all the people mentioning no parking and i thought eh not a big deal. It is. People two your cars left and right if you attempt to park in a spot that isnt yours and your friends will be screwed. Literally, there is no parking for your friends. And if you live in a one bedroom apartment and have two cars good luck. Several of us are battling this predicament right now and you literally have to be a hawk to catch the open spot. This place is beautiful, quiet and great location. But if your a people person, enjoy being respected and genuinly like to feel like someone cares about your concerns than this isnt the place for you. Not to mention their ridiculous rent prices.

bed bugs are brought in from the outside so he probably brought them in from traveling.

You are correct, bed bugs are brough in from an outside source and live in clothes and mattresses. They can even get in your luggage while traveling or be left in moving trucks. I am on this website to look at reviews of other places because I am relocating to a different area in Scottsdale. However, I have loved my stay at Montierra and think the staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking really isn't a problem as long as you are willing to walk a little. I live near the area where the majority of the guest parking is and it is rarely full. And also as far as pest control, I know they come every monday. So I just wanted to say, I HAVE LOVED MY STAY HERE!!

I have lived here for a couple of years in 2 different apartments because I need to stay in the same area. The staff is pretty nice and the maintenance crew is great but it requires a writ from god to get them to send someone out to fix anything. The will take an old appliance out of an empty apartment to replace a broken one. Pest control does NOT come out weekly - I've been fighting an infestation of ants for months and wasps in the shrubs off my patio. If you have a 2 bedroom apt with a one car garage you do not get a second covered parking for your second car - they offer to rent you another space or a garage. The actual rental prices are not the same as what is listed on any site on the web - they are priced much higher.

Hmmm...we haven't needed to use the bug man, but we have been told if we need to just call and get on the list because he comes out on Mondays. Also, as far as parking you should ask them in the office because we were told that all of the two bedrooms come with the garage and also the reserved covered spot. It's worth looking into!
