Overall, nice place to live

We've lived at the Montierra in Scottsdale for nearly 2 years and have decided to stay with Equity after our move to Seattle. The Montierra was well maintained and made a nice home for two years. A few problems: ended up with a handicapped unit (which was not expected) and the property manager isn't all that helpful/friendly. Her typical response to any questions was "read the contract." Also, the handicapped unit has a "funky" kitchen and overall the closet space was totally inadequate. The facilities here are great, beautiful pool (which you could have to yourself most of the time), and we had a garage and 1 assigned covered spot, so parking was never an issue. If you're planning on having guests it can get tight in the unassigned sections. Maintenance was wonderful, any services orders were completed within 24 hours and the service performed was excellent.
