Just stumbled on this site and I absolutely can't beleive the whining. Oh my God there's bugs! Oh my God the sewer backs up!...Get over it!!! If you attract bugs it's because you are dirty and need to get a good mop, vacuum, broom and take out your trash every once in a while. Sewers back up occasionally - they always fix them though. And the grounds are very well maintained. The dog crap is no fault of Pillar, it is the same dirty & careless residents who think it's normal to leave a pile of poop for others to walk in that make it messy at times. Good luck even finding a place in the area will take you bigger dog though! Okay, some of the office staff most definitly needs more training, but the leasing manager who moved us in was fantastic and very professional as well as the girl who helped with the lease. There are rude, incompetants in every business - they are no exception. Hopefully they will read this and train some of the ruder ones better on customer service.
This place is overpriced, no doubt. But even though it's not Scottsdale technically (you'll find this out if you call the Police or FD), it's still in a very good area.

I am a very clean person and employ a cleaning lady twice a month. I have continuous problems with bugs and everything breaks at Pillar. Trying to get the staff to respond is a nighmare. I was promised numerous things that never happened and I live in a gated commuity where the gate is broken 99% of the time.
