I just got back from the Vet, my sweet little dog is on meds for tick bites. She has been picking them up consistantly from walking in the complex. Fortunately, Pillar had our apt. sprayed yesterday. But it isn't going to help our dog. The Dr. has said all we can do is treat her and hope she gets better. I did request the grounds be sprayed, but I am not going to hold my breath. If you live here and have pets that go outside, check them for ticks. Especially in their ears and between their toes.

Um...or brush and bathe your pet? Why not try a tic bath or tic collar?

We use Frontline Plus. According to the vet, this will not stop the ticks for attaching. And she gets groomed regularly as well as brushed daily.
