Used to defend it, but they've gone too far

I previously gave this community a good review, but I want to take that back now. The wiring in the apartments is shot and they refuse to fix it, even though, by law, we can't touch it. So we're SOL on that. My phone hasn't worked right in two months, yet I'm still paying for service. The line is useless, but the problem is in the wiring the community owns. I gave up fighting it a while ago.

Then they raised rent by $25-50 a month (depending on apt size) in the middle of leases due to some clause about extenuating circumstances. They didn't call it a rent raise, it was an additional fee (for water, that used to be included in rent). I call a spade a spade, and this fee was definately intended as a legal raise on rent.

Then there's the parking. Two days in a row I have recieved tickets for "resident parked in visitor parking" in parking that is clearly NOT marked visitor and never has been visitor parking. The second time I parked further away to ensure that I was not in visitor parking, but still got a ticket. These spots I got tickets in have never been visitor parking. First time no fee, but second time it was $45. They have a major parking issue here, and have a parking company patrolling, which in itself is not an issue, but it has become a very big problem. If you forget to mention to the parking company you have a visitor, your visitor can expect a boot on their tire in the morning and a hefty fee. Thank goodness we haven't had that happen, but it's BS anyway. Management fails to recognize that this parking problem is not something the residents created, but poor planning on the builders part. RUN RUN RUN far away. It has actually been suggested that we have guests park in Alberston's half a mile away. I don't think you'll be able to rent here much longer anyway, I have a big suspicion they are about to convert to condo's. Just like every other stinking place around here.
