Good Aspects: Rent is low.......

Bad Aspects: The entire set up of this place is designed to make money for the owner and it's business associates, not to create a comfortable environment for individuals to live in.

My first impression: I walked up to my new front door on the second floor apartment facing the canal.... The first thing I noticed was the broken dirty concrete covering the stair way and walls of the complex, next I walked up to my apartment only to find hundreds of gnat like bugs covering my entrance and swarming me. They were also doing this same activity out on my balcony.

No lie. The most disgusting dispicable thing I've ever seen. I was not warned or informed and when I went down to the office to complain, they stated they've known about these bugs and have had this problem every summer/beginning of fall.

Again I was never informed of this BEFORE signing the contract.


I specifically asked for an apartment located away from noise, and the management placed me here. There is a TON of noise, from the neighbors from the thin walls, as well as, ANYTHING GOING ON OVER THE CANAL AT WEST WORLD.

Cars do donuts out there whenever they see fit, it's worse than having an apartment facing frank lloyd wright. It often smells like horses as well. Also as of right now I can hear the Barrett Jackson auction going on, infact if I could understand those announcers who talk so fast, I could tell you clearly what amount of money they are about to sell a one of the vehicles for.

Parking is horrible, If you happen to be like me and change your vehicle often, it is ridiculous when attempting to park in your own parking space. I feel I should have the right to park close to my home and not worry about receiving a fine for it.

Your screwed if you want normal cable... forget it, I tried to cheat and get a bundle pack from cox.... no can do. this apartment complex is off the map. Nonexistant. It is basically the bermuda triangle for any and all services that connect you to the outside world. The DSL internet connection I did get has been stolen or the wiring has been "messed up" twice for whatever reason.... and when I had it installed even the technician from Qwest claimed he had heard horrible stories about this complex.


My dryer didn't work when I moved in, the refrigerator leaked, there was and still is a bleach stain on the carpet, my front door doesnt lock very well from the outside and often takes about 10 minutes to lock with a key, if the key that i have decides to fit and also the mirrored door in the second bedroom was and still IS broken.

ALL of the punchwork is wrong, there is paint splattered in places it shouldn't be, the framework is all wrong. My mother in law does punchwork for a living and when she saw this place she FREAKED OUT.

I will say they exchanged my dryer for one that works efficiently, but the man stated he was planning on simply swapping them, meaning a new tenant has the same dryer I did, that doesnt work. They did fix the leaky fridge and offered to change out the carpet, but at that point I didn't feel like moving all my stuff out just for a stain.

They have not attempted to fix the broken mirror, and yet they knew about it before I moved in.

I am horrified of what is to happen to my security deposit when I leave this place, I expect the worst from this complex.
