Regents at Scottsdale

My humble thoughts From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 11/2/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007 1 response   There are a lot of negative reviews on here, which to me means that there are not many intelligent people posting on here. I've been nothing but impressed since moving in. The grounds are clean, the apartments are clean, and the prices are reasonable. Let's take a look at some remarks from the opposition. "It's too expensive." Have you looked around at other complexes in the area'' You live in North Scottsdale...do you honestly expect to pay $600 a month' If you want to pay that rate, move to Mesa. "Maintainence is bad." I haven't noticed that...anything I have had a problem with has been fixed the next day...even something as small as my shower head not having enough pressure. "There are drugs and squealing tires." I have not seen, smelled or heard any of the such. I'm not saying that everyone in the complex is drug-free, but I have not seen anything. Some people on here make it sound like they have to step on crack pipes while walking down to get their mail. There is not a drug problem. "The police are constantly seen in our parking lot." Yeah, I've seen the police there once or twice, but you know why they were in the parking lot' Because they pulled someone over for speeding off of Frank Lloyd Wright and the speeder pulled into our parking lot. "There is a noise problem." I've never heard loud blasting music, and yes you can hear traffic sometimes, but if you are concerned about that you should not have moved into a complex located right off of a major road. Some other random points... if someone is constantly parked in your spot, blame the ------- parked in your spot, not management. Leave a note on their car or something. If you really would like a 'warm and fuzzy' community feel, go make friends with your neighbors. It's an apartment complex, not a country club...I don't know how much community feel you expect. I have nothing but good things to say about the leasing office. The ladies there are very nice and very good-looking. They also remember your name. For the sake of fairness, the only issues I have noticed would be with the tractors that are revamping the pool area in the morning. But that occurs when a lot of people are typically at work, so it is not a problem for me. Overall, this is a great complex and the prices are very competitive. The best deal I found in the area.
