Look, I understand that living in posh North Scottsdale one expects to pay a little more than usual, but San Marcos was an all-out RIP-OFF! We had to break our lease for a transfer with my husband's company. Not only did we have to pay $1000 to get out of our apt 2 months before our lease was up, but pay an additional month's rent and forfeit our security deposit. Crickets were a huge problem in the summer time. Every night I killed at least 3 inside the apartment. The pool is nice and so are the grounds, but paying $860 for a 500 sq. ft. apartment is ridiculous...

well that 500 foot apartment now costs 950 a month and it's gotten old, run down, bug infested, no pool, garbage ridden, and basically all the white trash that lives in scottsdale, live here. What a mistake to have moved here. The staff HATE the residents and they laugh at you. Poor choice of complexes. Bad service, no help, no parking, paint falling off walls, floors peeling up, gross!
