once AGAIN....... this is a nice place. really! The pool was closed for a while to update it, but it was only closed for a couple of months - in the Spring, so no big deal. I had a scorpian a couple of times but they sprayed my apartment and I haven't had too many problems since. Maybe you just need to be a little neater.... j/k

If nobody speaks english, how can it be white trash? Hm. Perhaps you are not educated. Sadly, some people did grill in the parking lot last year and some barbarians do insist on leaving their dog crap everywhere (Hello?! We're all drinking the groundwater!) But we've lived in a couple of different cities (New York, L.A.) and frankly, San Marcos is like Del Boca Vista - very pink and plastic and Scottsdaley. We've never had bugs here or anywhere because we clean our home, regularly. Perhaps you don't, if you see them everywhere. Yikes. I like the pool, too. But it's time to buy our own home. And that's always better than renting.
