What a gorgeous complex. What a lovely apartment. What a horrible living environment...
I moved in less than a month ago and have already had to deal with the following:
1) Someone parked in my reserved spot, over and over and over again...
2) The staffs refusal to do anything to prevent people from parking in your spot,
3) The staff and manager lying about what they do to enforce parking - they claim they tow in 24 hours, but they refused to do so in my case, as well as my neighbors over last weekend,
4) The on-duty police officer feeling that his hands are tied because they want him to enforce rules, but hes not allowed to tow people, etc.
5) Fraternity antics like throwing beer bottles on the cars in the parking lot, smashing them in the spa, and leaving them all over the property,
6) Continuous pot smoking which leads to beligerent activities like fighting and sniffing/huffing activities
and (7) dog crap everywhere.
Its pretty sad when a police officer, who deals with the same parking situations, is actually told by management not to stick so many warning stickers on a car...and told hes not allowed to enforce the rules.
When you call management to inquire about issues, they dont return calls, and if you track them down in person, the management is rude and the support staff, except for Kymm acts as if you should be blessed to be there. This may be the case for the 19-year-olds who are just now venturing out on their own. But, for the rest of us hard working, upper-middle class residents, this environment is unacceptable.
On top of all of this, they nickel-and-dime you for everything. $20 for your gate remote per month, a pet rent, $1.00 each month added to your water bill that they use to offset the cost of using an outside metering company, and so on. Tacky.
I would NOT recommend this complex.
