When living in an apartment you can't set your standards too high. You are living within close proximity to every other resident. If you don't want the noise, buy a house, or rent in Sun City where the residents barely move.

San Marin is a beautiful complex and the location is really ideal. Unfortunately along with that, comes a bit of noise. You are right in the middle of down town Scottsdale!

I have lived here for over two years and couldn't be happier. When I am tired of apartment living I will move on and remember these past couple years fondly. I have lived in plenty of apartments and have never been as happy as I have been here. The staff is helpful and have all been here long term. That makes a big difference, it is very rare to see in apartment management. Maintenance is incredible and always prompt. I have no complaints that go above and beyond usuall complaints for apartment dwellers. It is so tiring to read all these bad comments and stupid complaints. If apartment living is really all that bad, go buy something! Because no matter what complex you move into you will have the same coplaints at every one, I promise.

I have now waisted way too much time. San Marin is great. It is the best of the best. If you are looking for a good apartment, look no further. But if you are expecting peace and quiet common in a personal home, be realistic.
