I decided not to renew my lease. Parking is a big problem since the extra guest spaces fill up by 8pm on the weekends (especially during the summer months). Thus, if you have any friends over, they will not get to park inside the complex. The issue of security is a joke since every night the front gate and other gates through the complex (including the pool) are propped open by rocks so that anyone can sneak in after partying in the neighborhood. The rent increase, as well as the rude management, was the final straw in my reason for not wanting to stay. I do want to praise the maintenance staff—they have been very helpful to me. But the management office needs to learn what ‘customer service’ is. They were quite helpful before I signed my lease but all issues/problems since getting my business has been stressful. Word of warning, upon moving out, they expect you to have your carpets professionally cleaned (proof by a receipt). This expense could cost up to any additional $300.
