We have lived at the San Marin for a little over 3 years. I just found this website because I was looking for the telephone number to call the office and thought "what the heck I will leave a review" for them!
The apartment complex has seen alot of changes in the time we lived here. At first, it was very noisy and party central. It seems the management got in gear and evicted most of the trouble-makers. Now keep in mind, it still gets a little rowdy considering it is located in Old Town Scottsdale in the heart of the nightclub district. We feel also feel very safe here knowing that a police officer lives on property and it is also located just a few blocks from the police department.
The office staff is always very helpful and nice. I don't know why they have gotten some negative reviews. Probably because they got there car towed and had to pay a fine or got in trouble some way or another. They are very strict about the complex rules and that is what keeps this place nice. We have had some building maintainence issues but they are always quick to repair.
The property is gorgeous and has a resort feel. I wish I could knock down the wall to the apartment next door and have a huge 4 bedroom condo! I think living here with the amenties, conveniece, and area is worth every cent.
