While I have not had scorpions (is that all one person') i've had plenty of spiders, though. I would have to agree with some of the other reviews. These are average apartments-I would kindly describe the plumbing, fixtures and overall contruction as adequate. More accurately, the plumbing is noisy (sounds like your neighbor is showering in your bedroom), the maintenance is spotty (my bathroom sink drain is held together with electrician's tape, and I was nearly knocked out last year by a carelessly unsecured piece of wood falling off the roof) and the 'secured' gates have a persistant habit of not accepting access codes (ask anyone who lives there-the response from the '24-hour help line' is that they are aware of the problem-yet this has gone on for months, and you're stuck outside until someone else rolls up).
The staff is fine, if preoccupied with their new sales jobs. The same company that ran the complex before is the new HOA manager, so not much of this is likely to change.
