Rate increased 20% in 7 months!

My rate at the end of 2005 was around $900 for a 1 bedroom apartment (without any incentives). Now my renewal rate for 12 months is more than $1100!!! Month to month is nearly $1400! The appliances are totally old, the kitchen and bath looks horrible, and overall these apartments are very dated! They have a lot of nerve raising the rate that high. Maybe if they were nice apartments it would be worth it. Renters Beware!
