I've been here for about 2.5 years and generally like it. Here are the pros and cons I've found:

Pros:
* Grounds usually very well maintained
* Maintenance and office staff seem to be mostly competent. I had an issue with the AC and though it took a few attempts to fix, they were always prompt.
* Rents are reasonable for the area.
* Mostly quiet, no traffic noise and generally little noise from other residents.

Cons:
* The grounds are well maintained, apparently by an entire legion of leaf-blower armed caretakers. Woe is he who may want to sleep in on gardening day, as they start up very early. It is all grass courtyards and various shubbery -- not really my thing, would have preferred desert landscaping but it's just a personal preference.
* Be very wary of renting an apartment next to either of the pools. Usually it is not a problem, but periodically very loud people will invade after hours (pity there is no security to chase them out).
* Visitor parking is very scarce in several areas. If you are going to have lots of visitors, find out where your apartment is going to be and check to see how many visitor spots are around.
* Appliances are somewhat antiquated; refrigerator seems a bit small.
* The kitchen as a whole is pretty small.
