I have to say I was a little afraid after reading the reviews on this site. However, after moving into Scottsdale Foothills 3 months ago, I have had nothing but good experiences. Yes, I haven't been here for too long, but I think if there were such enormous problems as others have described I would have noticed something by now.

My apartment is beautiful. I read a few reviews on here that mentioned Roaches and that scared me to death, to date I have never seen ANY type of bug inside my apt. Has anyone heard of cleanliness'

Everything in my apt is in good working order. I had a very small leak with my water heater upon moving in. I let the office now, and the NEXT DAY I had a brand new water heater installed.

The grounds are kept up well. The office staff is courteous.

Honestly I think that it's possible that some of the people posting bad reviews on here are very young, inexperienced in renting, irresponsible, or generally miserable people to begin with. Any renter knows that your rent is due on the first or you pay fees, that you need to give your landlord written notice before you vacate, we live in AZ for gods sake so are roaches really that shocking anyway, etc etc etc etc (referring to previous posts).

There are many other apartments in this area, some of them may be newer, but 90% of them are more expensive, so I think we should stop complaining.

The only complaint that I have is that they are going up for sale as condos in the next year or so, and I may not be able to afford to buy. In this area this is pretty common. What can you do.

Hmmm, some people always think someone is out to get them.......or that something shady is going on. I'm not an employee, in fact I just moved out of the "Foothills" due to the condo conversion. I lived there exaclty 6 months,and other than being kicked out because I can't afford to buy, I had absolutely no complaints whatsoever about the place. I just got my deposit back today in the mail. I had expected to only get part of it, but I ended up getting 100% back! Another example of the management of this place.....if you're an adult and take care of your place and of your rent they treat you pretty well. And by the way, I moved to another complex around the corner, I've been here less than a week and just saw my first ENORMOUS roach, it scared the living crap out of me. I NEVER saw any bugs at all at the Foothills.
