DAMAGED APTS GOING CONDO!! BEWARE BEWARE From: haciendas94 Date posted: 9/7/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   Our Apt was flooded by upstairs unit, causing significant damage to apt. ThEy realigned doors and patched hole in ceiling AFTER 21 DAYS OF NOTHING.. Carpets and foam pads never replaced, mold in walls and extreme smell of mildew. Nothing was repaired to full extent. Was out of apt more than 3 weeks, they only discounted $100 for the electricity which was double the normal rate because of the carpet dryers in place for 4 days. Nothing else, we were out approx $1200 between damaged items and loss of use to the apt. We were served a 5 day notice after being told to hold off paying until they could figure out if they would deduct anything. They said pay everything or go to court. BEWARE OF BUYING THE APT'S ARE REMODELED TO LOOKS ONLY, WATE DAMAGED TO MANY APTS AND NEVER FIXED. WE ARE FIGHTING THEM IN COURT. THEY ARE CURRENTLY IN VIOLATION WITH CODES AS WELL. CARPORTS ARE FALLING APART.
