RUN FAR AND FAST THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!!!

My rent has been raised over and over again by over $300 in like one years time and they are raising it another 50 if I were to renew the lease. (greeding corporate bastards think that since real estate went through the roof they can price gouge the ---- out of you) This place is in the middle of nightclub central and all the drunks come home in the middle of the night (all hours) and think they are still in the nightclub. Loud and obnoxious drunken behavior at all hours ANY day of the week. People were actually jumping off of the roof into the pool one night. The apartments were built with paperthin walls. I hear every noise that is made. Everytime my neighbors go out to smoke, the door is shut and it sounds like a bomb went off. (They are chain smokers so I am startled every half hour with this) And if you are a nonsmoker, you are no longer, as your neighbors all smoke here and it travels into your window if you ever want to open it and let fresh air in. The pool is closed rather early for any of you who would like a nighttime jacuzzi. Oh but wait, the pool and jacuzzi have been shut down so many times, I guess it doesn't matter anyway! There have been multiple car burglaries. Stereos and personal items stolen out of cars all the time. This is a regular thing. No gates, every drunk and thief, come on in! Appliances circa 1980. When I moved in, they did not even wash the walls or anything, there was what appeared to be urine on the walls. There was a cat here before, as the carpet still smells of cat urine. Tile is chipped and cracked throughout. Toilets break all the time. They overflow regularly and I am told that oh well they all do that, we don't know what to do about it. Every Monday from 7 am until 2 pm you will enjoy the lovely sounds of all types of lawn blowers and mowers and what have you. LOUD would be an understatement. I mean 7 AM!!! Rediculous. The manager is always in a bad mood and finds an excuse to not do anything that you ask. Good luck trying to get a package, they are constantly out of the office with the door locked. Also, $25 to get a key to the microscopic fitness room. No longer have a place to use for a gathering as they have now closed half the clubhouse to make the closet sized fitness room. Cockroaches galore. Mosquitos and ants too. Bug bites all the time. I keep my place spotless and they are still everywhere. I literally hear the noise from the cars and motorcycles on the street(Scottsdale and shea) and nightclub music-we are that close to the noisey area. Also, we are directly under the flight path of the Scottsdale Airpark, so all hours of day and night (as these are private planes) you will hear planes. Neighbors are so noisey you will not believe it. My neighbor has called the police multiple times. Dogs barking, no one picks up the ---- from their pets. They never change the air filters for the A/C so if I didn't do it myself I would be breathing dirt. No where near enough shelving or closets. Water bill is high as is electric bill. Washer dryer hookups are outside in the storage so enjoy that heat this summer dragging clothes in and outside. And shared patios. Yes, SHARED. And if you like techno music so loud that the walls shake at all hours, you are in the right place. DO NOT RENT HERE, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

wow - I live in this complex and have had none of the above problems. I moved here from a townhouse and my electric bill is less than it used to be. Yes, I can occasionally hear my neighbors - nothing that terrible. I hear no noise from the surrounding area. Personally, I really like the area, there is a ton of stuff to do within walking distance. I've also not had any bugs whatsoever. I do notice that the office is closed a lot but if I leave a phone message they are reasonably prompt in responding and there is a drop for the rent. I have had some minor repairs that took longer than I thought they should to be repaired but anything major they have gotten to pretty quick. It's not a place I would buy if they were converting to condos but as far as an apartment goes I've been happy. What are you talking about with the shared patios? I have my own patio and all of the complex seems to be pretty much alike.

Congrats, we all have our own views. Take a walk around sometime, you will see that you are not the only one around. There are shared patios for the larger units. Thanks for sharin!
