I have read all reviews. I am not an employee of Equity. I am a resident and I have lived here for a year. I have never seen cockroaches. I do not hear my neighbors. I suppose I could if I were to turn off the TV, turn off the blower on the furnace, turn off the fan in the bathroom and sit here and "listen". These are apartments. You can EXPECT to hear something once in a while. As far as the noise at night, I don't know. Have never been bothered but I suppose that depends on your neighbors. Lastly, the apartments were nice enough for you to lease here but if you would have read the information given to you at the time of move in, Equity has what is called "total satisfaction" which means if you are unhappy with your apartment during the first 30 days of your lease, you can cancel the lease and only pay for the days you lived there. If you chose not to read the information and take advantage of this "benefit" then you have to live with your mistake but it would be nice if you kept your negative comments to yourself and not give this property a bad rating when they don't deserve one. If there is a problem with something at move in, just let management know. They'll fix it. It's really that simple. I find this to be a very pleasant place to live. Yes, it's old. But it has character and it's a lovely location. I recommend Scottsdale Meadows HIGHLY.

I agree! We've been here for almost a year and are getting ready to sign new lease for another year. It's not perfect but I can tell you ANY time we have had a problem whether it was because of inconsiderate neighbors or a minor maintenance problem we have gotten first rate service. Yes, the places are old, but, again, I think they do a great job with upkeep. The management staff shouldn't have to 'babysit' everyone here and unfortunately there are times when they have to and I think they do the best job they possibly can. As far as prices go, they are one of the less expensive in the area.
There are alot worse places to be.

God is this you? If not, what is it like not only to know everything, but also how and what everyone else should do and feel? EVERYONE HAS DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES. NOT EVERYONE'S PROBLEMS STARTED PRIOR TO 30 DAYS. DUH! This place, like most lemons, started showing its true colors later. And you are mgmt. PERIOD.
